The special sizes plates of dimensions 1.20 x 0.40 x 0.05 / 0.04m are used in the worldwide known religious places of worship Mecca and Medina. The plate’s dimensions are chosen respectively to the space necessary to a religionist to kneel on the ground and execute his prayers. The Thassos marble is furthermore worldwide known to be the marble with the highest reflection to the sun beams and this for the one with the lowest heat absorbance, which secures to the religionists a well tempered ground to kneel on. It also has to be remarked that the colour white is considered to be holy in the Muslim religion.

    THASSOS MARBLE
