    Foundation of F.H.L. as a general trading company in Polystylo – Kavala, Greece

    By the end of this year the first marble elaborating factory in the Industrial Zone of Drama is built and starts operation

    F.H.L. buys MARMARA PETROS SISKOS S.A. and with this the marble elaboration factory in Prosotsani which is today the headquarter of the company. Together with the factory also several quarries had been absorbed with this deal. Namely the 3 Volakas quarries, which are connected as one huge near by the homonymous village Volakas, as well as the Bianco Venatino quarry located near the village Nevrokopi in the Falakro mountainside became F.H.L. property.

    F.H.L. buys the marble company Mermeren Kombinat which owns in the city of Prilep in North Macedonia the Sivec white marble quarry as well as marble elaboration facilities

    F.H.L. Group supplied for the parliament of Uzbekistan in Tashkent, 20 columns as well as 8 entire circle formed columns, 6.500m2 of cut-to-size snow-white Sivec marble.

  • 2004

    F.H.L. takes one of the most important marble projects in the last 50 years. The company elaborated over 100.000 tons of Sivec white marble for the Grand Mosque of Abu Dhabi, also known as the Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Mosque, one of the biggest mosques in the world. The project was competed in 2007 with complete success

  • 2008

    Supply of Thassos trapezoid massifs to Mecca and Medina.

    Foundation of the MGI-FHL company with the foreign company Saudi Binladin group

  • 2009

    F.H.L. is supplying white Thassos and Sivec marble for the Conference Hall in Tashkent Uzbekistan. The project is completed in record time of 3 months only, with a project value of 30.000.000 €

    The company buys the Thassos white marble quarry in the Vlachoudi district in the island of Thassos in Nothern Greece.

    F.H.L. buys one more quarry in Thassos island and the Laskaridis elaboration factory

  • 2011

    Supply of Prinos Thassos marble as 10 columns and 5.500m2 of cut-to-size cladding and parapets for the National Library of Tashkent Uzbekistan

  • 2014

    F.H.L. buys the BIANCO VENUS quarry in the mountainside of Falakro

  • 2016

    F.H.L. takes over to supply and install till 2019 Thassos marble to the Russian Republic of Chechnya to a new built mosque in the city of Shali. This mosque is concipated to host more than 25.000 Muslims and is about to become the biggest Mosque in Europe. The project includes all exterior and interior claddings, columns, cut –to –size, artefacts, marble carpets, parapets, balustrades etc

    One of the most demanding projects the Ramzan Kadyrov Mosque in Shali town, Chechnya is completed with tremendous success. Having elaborated over 36.000 Tons of white Thassos marble as cut –to –size, artifacts, claddings, carpets, parapets, balustrades etc.
